Exit

Flying over dusty roads I just need a snack
and there was a shop in sight so I held back

I filled a bag with fruit gave the man his pay
and off I went to the hills a truly wonderful day

Halfway the mountain road I finished all the fruit
my stomach started feeling funny didn’t feel so good

Suddenly I needed a sanitary stop
I saw a desert parking place almost on the top

In grateful haste I left the car my trousers on my knees
I saw the car moving back my wallet and my keys

While running for the car my stomach cleared the pain
there came a very helpless sound from out of the ravine

My pants and shoes I threw away, thus hiking did not work at all
Alex and I are swimming down by the waterfall

How on earth can this be solved I clearly don’t have a clue
all of sudden I had an idea the only thing we could do

I looked for the road and started our mission
I laid me down in an unpleasant position

It looked as if I had a very severe accident
and it didn’t take a while an emergency call was sent

Alex and I were picked up by an ambulance from town
and in hospital we could finally sleep in a clean bed and a gown

Insurance company covered it all I bought a new suit and a pair of shoes
Alex and I took off in a bliss on the hunt for more good news

Damn’ little thing
looking like a berrie
you just pulled me a trick

Damn’ little thing looking
like a cherry
you just got me awful sick

About

Ik ben een teruggetrokken, enigszins zwaar op de hand zijnde oude Brabander, met een ongeorganiseerde stroom gedachten.
